Williamson out six weeks

Rotherham United's Lee Williamson is out with nose and concussion problems.

Rotherham United midfielder Lee Williamson is out for at least six weeks with a nose and a concussion problem.

The summer signing from Northampton Town suffered a setback with the nose injury he sustained at Nottingham Forest last month, with scans showing that the player had picked up a delayed concussion.

Millers physio Denis Circuit admitted that the midfielder will need time to recover from his concussion and have surgery on his damaged nose.

"He started to get severe migraines and felt unwell," Circuit told the club's official website.

"So he was taken to hospital in Derby where he lives and it was diagnosed that it was delayed concussion from the Forest game.

"Since then, he has struggled so it could be another two weeks before he gets over this.

"We have provisionally booked him in for his nose operation on 18th October, so if everything goes well for him, he will be out for at least six weeks."
