Moore remains positive

Rotherham United boss Ronnie Moore believes his side can get out of trouble.

The Millers have yet to register a League win this season and are 11 points adrift of safety at the foot of the table.

Despite the predicament, Moore remains positive his side can start picking up results, with Rotherham hosting Leeds United in a Yorkshire derby on Monday evening - a match that can be seen on Sky Sports 1.

"It doesn't look good, but it's not impossible," Moore told Sky Sports News. "If we can win tonight, it gives us a little bit of hope.

"We've got some crucial games coming up ourselves with Brighton next and Sheffield United.

"They're big games for us, but they're all big games at this level.

"No one is talking about relegation here, we have got to be positive and bright and take the game to Leeds tonight.

"I've seen Leeds twice this season against QPR and Watford, so we know it's going to be a tough game, but there will be a full house on here and a great atmosphere.

"It's a pity I can't play because I feel like playing myself now."

Moore expressed his delight at signing winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce from under the noses of League One side Chesterfield.

The 21-year-old arrives at Millmoor for a nominal fee from Charlton Athletic and Moore hopes the youngster's addition can provide Rotherham with some much-needed goal production.

"I think you've got to try everything," he added. "We let three players go last week and we've brought one new player in.

"Hopefully, he'll (Campbell-Ryce) be a new shining light for us - without putting too much pressure on him - and provide ammunition for our strikers."
