Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore is hopeful of handing Jody Morris a permanent contract in the summer.

Morris joined The Millers in March after severing his ties with Leeds United and has made a positive impression on Moore.

"Jody is a top quality player and one we would love to keep," said Moore. "But we'll have to wait and see."

Morris' present deal with The Millers runs until the summer, but if he can continue to show the right attitude it would appear he will be handed an extended stay at Millmoor.

Rotherham are just three points about the relegation spots in Division One, with Moore focusing on survival rather than players' contracts.
