Cook: We look league leaders

Chesterfield boss Paul Cook insisted his side looked every bit league leaders despite their 1-1 draw at Fleetwood.

Jon Parkin's late strike cancelled out Liam Cooper's opener to keep the Spireites one point ahead of Town at the top of League Two. Cook said: "We go away pleased. We look league leaders. "We looked classy at times, we passed the ball, made some good chances. "As disappointed as we are we're really pleased with where we are." But the Chesterfield boss also gave credit to Graham Alexander's Fleetwood side, who battled hard to earn their point. He said: "Fair play to Fleetwood. It's hard to manage when you've got (Jamille) Matt, (Jon) Parkin and (David) Ball. "They threw everything forward. "You've got to respect the fact they are a good side. "But over the 90 minutes we were probably the better team and deserved at least a point if not all three. "They put on the pressure and probably deserved a goal from it."
