Defender Gregor Robertson has become the latest Chesterfield player to sign a new contract at the B2Net Stadium.
The 27-year-old would have been a free agent next month but the Spireites have handed him with a new 12-month deal.
Robertson missed the end of the season after sustaining an Achilles tendon injury in April, but made 23 appearances for John Sheridan's League Two title winners.
"I was gutted to pick up another serious injury after recovering from a broken leg but the club is standing by me and I do appreciate that so much." Robertson told the club's official website.
"I will be working hard over the summer to get fit enough to join the rest of the squad for pre-season training."
Jamie Lowry also put pen to paper on a new one-year deal on Monday.
