Fit-again midfielder Jamie Lowry has signed a new one-year contract with League Two champions Chesterfield.

The 24-year-old made just three appearances for the Spireites this season after recovering from a cruciate ligament injury, but manager John Sheridan was eager to keep hold of him. Lowry told the club's official website: "I have been out a long time so I appreciate the support shown by the club. "I am really keen to have a good pre-season so I can get back in contention for the new season."
