Two of Chesterfield's most influential players are delighted after having signed new two-year contracts.
Midfielder Mark Allot and defender Drew Talbot both put pen to paper having enjoyed a memorable season that saw the Spireites crowned League Two Champions.
Allot, who reached 300 appearances for Chesterfield recently, told the club website: "I'm delighted to be able to continue my career with Chesterfield as I am really enjoying my football here."
Talbot, who was voted players' player of the year by his team-mates, said: "I had no hesitation in signing a new contract as I am happy and settled here. I am really looking forward to the challenge of playing in a new division next season."
Meanwhile, striker Dean Morgan has signed a new one-year deal with the Spireites.
