Chesterfield midfielders Craig Clay and Tendayi Darikwa have joined non-league side Barrow on a month's loan.

The teenagers will stay at the Blue Square Bet Premier club, who are managed by Chesterfield boss John Sheridan's brother Darren, until November 25.

Clay, who captained the Spireites' Under-18 team last season, signed a two-year deal with the club in the summer. He scored the injury-time equaliser in the remarkable 5-5 home draw against Crewe at the start of this month.

Darikwa signed a pro deal with Chesterfield in the summer but has yet to make his first-team debut.
