Chesterfield have confirmed the signing of striker Dean Morgan on a one-year contract.
Skysports.com revealed on Friday that Morgan was set to join the League Two club following his departure from MK Dons at the end of last season.
He has now agreed a 12-month deal with the Spireites and the paperwork should be finalised in time for Morgan to feature in next weekend's game against Hereford United.
In addition to agreeing a deal for Morgan, Chesterfield boss John Sheridan confirmed he has been looking to bring in further additions.
Sheridan told the club's official website: "I have made a few enquiries and offers about a couple of players and am awaiting decisions on them."
