Drew Talbot is back in training after injury, but Chesterfield team-mate Simon Whaley will miss the final three games.
Spireites striker Talbot has yet to play this month due to illness and, more recently, a bout of concussion.
However, the 23-year-old has received the all-clear to begin training and could come back into the reckoning for the visit of Bradford on Saturday.
Meanwhile, winger Whaley will miss the final three matches of the campaign after undergoing surgery to clear up debris around his knee.
The 24-year-old joined Chesterfield from Norwich City in February and his contract expires at the end of the season.
