Chesterfield defender Gus Uhlenbeek has been charged with misconduct by The FA following a clash with a match referee.
The Dutchman has been called to answer a charge of violent behaviour following an incident involving referee Graham Salisbury during last month's 4-0 thrashing at Grimsby Town.
The former Ipswich Town, Fulham and Sheffield United player was sent off in the match at Blundell Park and is beginning a three-match suspension this weekend.
However, should The FA find him guilty of the misconduct charge, Uhlenbeek could face a longer spell out through suspension.
