Bantams expect new-look squad

Bradford boss Phil Parkinson will meet with members of the club's board this week to further discuss team strengthening.

Parkinson, who recently completed the signings of midfielders Matty Dolan and Billy Knott, expects a new-look squad to mount a stronger challenge in Sky Bet League One next season. "There will be a new look to the team," Parkinson told the club's official website. "I feel that a change is needed and we are working hard to achieve that. "We have our plans in place. I'm sitting down with the chairmen (Mark Lawn and Julian Rhodes) and David Baldwin again to go through potential targets and to decide which ones we want to move forward with. "We know what the division is all about now and we are excited by the prospect of revamping the squad and giving a fresh feel to it. "We know where we need to improve the squad and I am looking forward to the challenge of doing just that." Dolan, 21, who made 11 appearances for the club while on loan from Middlesbrough at the end of the season, has signed a one-year contract and Knott, also 21, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal after joining on a free transfer from Sunderland.
