Meredith blow for Bantams

Image: James Meredith: Out indefinitely

Bradford defender James Meredith faces a spell on the sidelines after the club confirmed he has broken a bone in his right foot.

The Australian left-back suffered the injury in training on Tuesday and an X-ray confirmed the extent of the problem. The length of time Meredith is expected to be out will not be known until the best course of treatment has been decided. Meredith has been an ever-present for the Bantams in League One this season and his injury is a fresh blow for manager Phil Parkinson as he looks to end a run of just one win in 15 matches.
