All's Wells for Parkinson

Bradford manager Phil Parkinson is hoping to recall striker Nahki Wells to his starting line-up at Barnet next Saturday.

Wells has struggled with illness over the Christmas period and after missing Saturday's home defeat to Rochdale, could only make the substitutes' bench for the New Year's Day draw at Morecambe where he appeared at the start of the second half. "We had a call to make about Nahki, whether to start him or not," said manager Phil Parkinson. "He hasn't been training much recently so we decided to start him on the bench. "There are a lot of games coming up so I didn't want to take that particular risk. I always had it in my mind, however, to give him a good run-out in the game because I felt he could do something for us." Meanwhile, Garry Thompson has sustained minor knee ligament damage and is expected to be sidelined for up to 10 days. The former Scunthorpe winger, a free summer signing, was forced out of the action at half-time against Rochdale.
