Phil Parkinson said he can now enjoy the prospect of facing Arsenal on Tuesday after seeing his Bradford side see off 10-man Torquay 1-0.

Striker Alan Connell came off the bench to score a superb 85th-minute winner against his old club to give City a deserved win.

Parkinson, who has been at pains to concentrate the minds of his players on the Torquay match and not think about the Gunners game, said: "We have had the lads focussed really well and they have been outstanding.

"There has been such a lot of talk about the Arsenal game, but we have focussed well.

"Now we can enjoy the game. It will be a great night for the club and everyone connected with it. It will give exposure to the club and much needed revenue, but we can enjoy it even more now we have got three points against Torquay."
