Parky delight at Doyle boost

League Two outfit Bradford have had Nathan Doyle's red card at Bristol Rovers rescinded by an independent FA panel.

The midfielder, 25, received his marching orders in the 3-3 draw on Saturday but the panel overturned referee David Phillips' decision, clearing Doyle to play against Brentford in the FA Cup on Friday. City manager Phil Parkinson told the club's official website: "I'm obviously pleased to hear that Nathan's red card has been overturned and that common-sense has prevailed. "Watching the replay, everyone can see that Nathan hasn't kicked out at their lad, so I'm glad that The FA have sensibly decided to rescind Nathan's red. "I'm pleased for Nathan as well. He will now be available to help us out over these next three games instead of being suspended."
