Bradford City have confirmed the departure of Scottish striker Mark Stewart ahead of the new season.

Stewart, 23, had his contract terminated by mutual consent last month and all the paperwork has now been completed. A brief club statement read: "The club would like to thank Mark for his efforts during his time as a Bantam and wish him all the very best in the future." Stewart joined Bradford last summer from Falkirk, but struggled to force his way into the starting line-up at Valley Parade and made a total of 15 appearances. He finished the season back in Scotland on loan with Hamilton.
