Sunderland midfielder Billy Knott has extended his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon by another month.

The 19-year-old has impressed since arriving at Kingsmeadow in January, making 11 appearances and scoring twice. Knott has followed West Ham youngster George Moncur in prolonging his stay with the League Two club, to the delight of Dons manager Terry Brown. "They are both very talented boys who could play at a higher level," Brown told the club's official website. "What I like about them most is that they both have a willingness to learn. They also have a lot of enthusiasm and put so much hard work in. "I am delighted to get them back as we have a lot of games coming up during the next month."
