Bradford City defender Guy Branston has targeted a swift return to action within a few weeks.
The 33-year-old centre-back sustained a foot injury while on loan at League Two rivals Rotherham in early December and has been in the treatment room since.
"To get struck down with a niggle, which ended up turning into a tear in my tendon, has been a frustrating time," he said.
"People have been doing everything in their power to get me fit, but it hasn't worked. The more work I did on it the more aggro I've done to it.
"I haven't got a timescale of when I'll be back, but I'm hoping it will be a few weeks."
