Injury-hit Bradford defender Simon Ramsden is a step closer to fitness after a run-out in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
The 29-year-old right-back, who has been plagued by calf and groin problems since the start of last season, played for an hour in a 1-0 win over Tranmere at Prenton Park on Tuesday afternoon.
"Simon looked fine and he did some great delivery into the front players," manager Phil Parkinson told the Telegraph and Argus.
"He got 60 minutes under his belt and did well.
"But we're not going to get carried away. He knows it's only the start of a long road."
