Wells inspired by Goater's goals

Bradford's Bermudan striker Nahki Wells is inspired by compatriot Shaun Goater and wants to make an impression in English football.

Wells has scored once in three games since joining the Bantams in June, but the former Carlisle man is confident he can follow in Goater's footsteps. Wells told the Telegraph & Argus: "My goal is to make it like he did. The Goat was our hero. "I used to watch the English clubs on TV and dream that one day I could play here. "I had a chat with him before I came over and he told me it takes time to settle and become accustomed to the style of play and the life here. "It's all about taking a chance if you get it."
