Bradford boss Peter Jackson has confirmed that former Crystal Palace midfielder Kieran Djilali is training with the club.
The 20-year-old was released by Palace at the end of last season.
He was offered a new deal at Selhurst Park, but believes he needs to be playing regular football at this stage of his career.
Bradford have offered him an opportunity to impress, having first seen him action during a loan spell at Chesterfield last season.
He recently took in a trial with League One outfit Scunthorpe, but is now hoping to earn a permanent stay with the Bantams.
Jackson told the club's official website: "We are having a look at him to see what he can do. So far, I think he has done okay.
"He's been training with us this week and we will invite him back to train with us again next week."
Djilali stepped off the bench for Bradford in Thursday's development squad fixture at Steeton AFC and notched the third goal in a 3-0 win.
