Rotherham boss Andy Scott has moved quickly to make his second summer signing with striker Gareth Evans arriving from Bradford.

The news quickly follows Friday's announcement that midfielder Ben Pringle had been signed from Derby.

The 23-year-old spent two years at Valley Parade having signed from hometown club Macclesfield and has agreed a one-year deal at the Don Valley Stadium.

"I'm delighted to be here and I'm looking forward to putting on the red shirt. I can't wait to get going," Evans told the Millers' official website.

"The minimum required is to run around and work hard and that is definitely part of my game. I also think I have the ability to create and score goals."

Jamie Annerson, Ollie Banks and Dale Tonge recently signed contract extensions as Scott begins to shape his squad for next season.
