Bantams duo close to comebacks

Image: Ramsden: Has been out with a calf injury

Bradford's long-term absentees Simon Ramsden and Michael Flynn are on course for a return before the end of the month.

Defender Ramsden, handed the captain's armband in the summer, has made only three appearances this season due to a hip-related calf injury, while midfielder Flynn has appeared only once as he has been recovering from a double hernia. Manager Peter Taylor said: "I know Flynn's been doing really well recently and now I believe he's caught Simon up. "I've got no doubt that both of them will be available maybe mid-to-late January." Ramsden had surgery to resolve his problem in October and Flynn has undergone two operations, one in the summer and another in the autumn.
