Bradford's David Syers is more interested in points than performances as his side head into the hectic festive period.
Syers scored his sixth goal of the season to see off Hereford on Saturday and although the Bantams produced a below-par performance, the midfielder was pleased with the three points.
"You look back at the Macclesfield game when we played very well and got nothing. It feels a lot better after this one," he told the Telegraph & Argus.
"We sat down beforehand and spoke about coming into the Christmas period with six games in three weeks. At this stage it's all about results.
"If we win more than we lose, we'll be pushing up that table and hitting the second half of the season in a good position.
"At the moment, it really doesn't matter how we get the three points. They are the only important thing."
