Reds starlet happy with League One stint

Notts County loan star Stephen Darby has admitted he would be happy to extend his stay at Meadow Lane. Darby is currently on loan from Liverpool until January and he has impressed during his time at the League One outfit. Magpies boss Paul Ince has expressed a desire to keep the full-back until the end of the season and Darby would be willing to stay for longer at the club. "It's great to be playing and getting experience at a good level," Darby told the Nottingham Evening Post. "I think a season at this level would benefit me massively. There is nothing better than coming out and playing games in the league, playing against experienced players, so it would be good for me. It would help me develop as a player, hopefully. "It's a good level. There is some good football played in League One. "If there is a possibility of staying here for longer it's definitely something I would look at."
