Peter Taylor has captured defender Shane Duff from Cheltenham as he continues his revamp of the Bradford squad.
The Bantams boss is preparing for a League Two promotion push and Duff becomes his sixth summer signing.
The 6ft 1in centre-half turned down a new deal at Cheltenham to sign a one-year contract at Valley Parade, while the Bantams have the option of keeping the 28-year-old for a further 12 months.
Duff, brother of Burnley defender Michael, ends his 10-year spell at Cheltenham and is hoping for an injury-free campaign after missing most of last season due to an Achilles injury.
