Bradford's teenage goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin has signed a three-year deal at Valley Parade after establishing himself as the club's No.1.
The 19-year-old, whose current deal was due to expire next month, started in the Bantams' last six matches under manager Peter Taylor.
Taylor signed Lloyd Saxton, 20, last week and the fornmer Plymouth goalkeeper will start the season as McLaughlin's back-up.
McLaughlin joined Bradford from Harrogate Town in the summer of 2008.
He had to wait 18 months before making his debut against Cheltenham in January this year.
