League Two club keen to avoid tribunal

Bradford have made Guiseley an improved offer for striker James Hanson. The Bantams signed the 21-year-old in the summer after a successful trial, but they are yet to agree a fee with the Unibond Premier Division side. City's joint-chairman Mark Lawn hopes their latest offer will ensure the fee will not be decided by a tribunal. Lawn told the Telegraph & Argus: "We've gone back to Guiseley and upped the offer. We don't think we can go any further. "It's up to them but any more than what we are prepared to offer would be unrealistic from our point of view." Hanson has made a promising start to his Bradford career, scoring four goals for the League Two side.
