Bradford have been dealt a blow with the news that Omar Daley is set to miss the rest of the season.
The Jamaica international sustained a knee injury during the Bantams' goalless draw with Darlington last Tuesday.
The 27-year-old was stretchered off after he sustained lateral ligament damage in a heavy tackle against the Quakers.
Subsequent scans have shown the problem to be serious enough to require surgery, with Daley going under the knife on Monday.
"The scan results were poor and, depending on what the surgeon finds, it could be a three to four-month job," Bradford boss Stuart McCall told the club's official website.
"It's hard for Omar and hard for us but football injuries happen unfortunately and the ligament is not in good nick."
