Ward & Kandol replaced injured Gray & Fortune

Charlton have bolstered their squad with the double signing of Darren Ward and Tresor Kandol. Addicks boss Phil Parkinson has moved for the pair after losing Andy Gray and Jon Fortune to long-term injuries. Fortune and Gray have been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a ruptured Achilles and a stress fracture of the pelvis, respectively, during Tuesday's win over Crystal Palace. Kandol, who has only recently returned to Leeds after a loan spell at Millwall, has been quickly farmed out again to Charlton and will help fill the void left by Gray's injury. Wolves have allowed Ward to go out on loan as he is currently well down the pecking order at Molineux and he recently enjoyed a spell on loan at Watford. The pair, who has signed on loan until the end of the season, are set to go straight into the squad for Saturday's clash with Burnley. Parkinson said: "After losing Jon for the season and with both Mark and Graeme extremely doubtful for the Burnley game on Saturday, we had to move quickly. "They are three key players, and we needed some defensive options, so I'm delighted to get Darren, who will give us a great physical presence. "The loss of Andy has given us more problems, and Tresor is very hungry to play so we're pleased he is on board."
