Peter Thorne has urged Bradford supporters not to write the club's season off just yet.

Peter Thorne has urged Bradford supporters not to write the club's season off. The Bantams have made a dismal start, slumping to 19th in League Two following relegation in May, but back-to-back wins over Chester in both the league and FA Cup have lifted morale. Thorne, who headed the winner on Saturday, said: "It's still early doors as far as I'm concerned." The 34-year-old summer signing from Norwich has made only eight appearances for Stuart McCall's side due to a succession of injuries since arriving from Norwich. He added: "The belief we've got out of these two wins against Chester is massive and we will not write this season off."
