Bradford City manager Stuart McCall insists Joe Colbeck still has a future at the club.
The young winger this week agreed to spend a month on loan at high-flying League Two rivals Darlington and could make his debut against Chesterfield on Saturday.
Bantams boss McCall is looking to wheel and deal in the transfer market to strengthen his struggling squad and says the loan is 'what he (Colbeck) needs'.
McCall said: "They want him up there for a month because Julian Joachim's out and hopefully he'll get some first-team football.
"As (joint-chairman) Mark Lawn said, at the moment we've got a lot of fringe players that need to get out playing.
"There's no movement elsewhere, but it's down to Joe if he gets games to do himself justice. We'll see what comes of it."
