Darlington fell to their first league defeat of the season as the MK Dons snatched an 89th minute winner at Stadium:MK.

Dons end Darlington run

MK Dons ended Darlington's unbeaten start to the season with a late 1-0 win over Dave Penney's men, while Wrexham's woes continued after losing to Stockport. Despite the defeat Darlington remain top of the league with Hereford climbing to second after a thrilling win over Bradford.
Accrington 1 Mansfield 0
Paul Mullin gave Accrington Stanley the lead against Mansfield Town just before the half-hour mark. The home side increase their win tally to three now this season as Mansfield's disappointing run continues with only one win so far.
Chester 0 Brentford 2
It took a while for anyone to find the net at the Saunders Honda Stadium, 53 minutes to be precise, as Lee Thorpe put Brentford in front against Chester. The corner in from Sammy Moore fell nicely to Thorpe who put the visitors in front. And they built on that lead with a free-kick awarded in the final minutes of the game after Ricky Shakes was fouled by Kevin Roberts. Moore converting to give Brentford a 2-0 win.
Chesterfield 0 Barnet 1
Jason Norville finally found the net for Barnet with a fine header on target beating keeper Barry Roche to give The Bees all three points against Chesterfield who up until the game were unbeaten in the League.
Dag & Red 1 Bury 1
It was a great start for Bury against Dagenham as they took the lead through Paul Scott after just 21 minutes of play. Both sides had won just one game so far this season prior to match. David Rainford brought the home side back into the game with a goal five minutes from half-time bringing the score level which is how it finished after a goalless second half.
Hereford 4 Bradford 2
Bradford City's trip to Hereford started in the worst possible fashion after the visitors went two goals behind after just 17 minutes of play. Two goals in two minutes for the home side as on-loan Toumani Diagouraga and Steve Guinan powered through the Bradford defence. Bradford came back into the game when Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu scored on the half hour mark. Then Paul Heckingbottom was booked for unsporting behaviour after conceding a penalty for a foul on Lionel Ainsworth early in the second half. Trevor Benjamin converted the spot-kick with some ease. Ndumbu-Nsungu scored his second and again brought Bradford back into the game just before the hour mark but again Hereford found the net through Theo Robinson to seal the win for United in the final few minutes.
Lincoln City 1 Grimsby 2
Lincoln City suffered defeat to Grimsby in Saturday's lunchtime game as the Mariners notched their first win of the season. Justin Whittle gave the visitors the lead inside the first 20 minutes before Jamie Forrester brought the home side level late in the first half. A penalty kick was awarded early in the second half when Isaiah Rankin was brought down in the area by Adie Moses. And it was the converted penalty by Ciaran Toner that eventually earned the visitors all three points.
MK Dons 1 Darlington 0
Darlington fell to their first league defeat of the season on Saturday in rather disappointing fashion as the MK Dons snatched an 89th minute winner at Stadium:MK. Drissa Diallo with a fine header netting the only goal in the game to end The Quakers unbeaten run.
Peterborough 1 Morecambe 1
Both Peterborough and Morecombe were sitting in mid-table before Saturday's tie both enjoying satisfactory starts to the season. It took a penalty to separate the two initially as Jamie Day was brought down in the area by Adam Yates. Aaron McLean stepped up and placed the ball into the bottom right-hand corner of the net. But Garry Thompson pulled it level with just minutes remaining to earn the visitors a point.
Rochdale 1 Macclesfield 1
Rochdale's early lead at Spotland was gifted to them as Jim McNulty put one past his own keeper in a disappointing start for Macclesfield, who are unbeaten away from home this season. The Silkmen were awarded a penalty five minutes later after a foul on Martin Gritton by Guy Branston. James McNulty drilled the ball into the top right corner of the net to earn the visitors a point.
Rotherham 1 Notts County 1
Rotherham were first to net in League Two of the 3pm fixtures on Saturday and they did so after just seven minutes of play against Notts County at Millmoor. Peter Holmes gave the home side the lead early on. County were awarded a free kick following a foul on Graham Coughlan by Jason Lee soon after. Danny Harrison stepped up to take it and his shot rebounded to Spencer Weir-Daley who found the net to level matter 10 minutes from half-time which is how it remained at full-time.
Stockport 2 Wrexham 1
Wrexham's misery continued on their visit to Stockport on Saturday. Propping up the table, The Dragons did initially take the lead through Marc Williams but their celebrations were short-lived when Anthony Elding pulled it level just three minutes later. And a further blow after the hour mark as Dominic Blizzard got on the end of a corner taken by Paul Tierney to score with a fine header to give Stockport the three points and increase Wrexham's losing run to six games.
Wycombe 1 Shrewsbury 1
After promising starts to the season for both Wycombe and Shrewsbury, Saturday's tie at Adams Park was always going to be competitive. Shrewsbury with four wins in their last six games and Wycombe having won three from six. There were just two goals in the game and both came in the first half. Colin Murdock gave the visitors the lead after 27 minutes before Scott McGleish drew the home side level just 10 minutes later.
