Bradford have lost their appeal against Joe Brown's dismissal at Blackpool.

The 18-year-old was given his marching orders for violent conduct last Saturday after an off-the-ball-incident with Seasiders skipper Michael Jackson.

Bantams boss Colin Todd had hoped to have the red card rescinded but will now have to make do without Brown for the next three games.

With Eddie Johnson and David Graham both injured Todd could be left short of options up front.

Former Manchester United and Middlesbrough midfielder Mark Wilson, meanwhile, is set to play for Bradford in Wednesday's reserve game at Darlington.

The 27-year-old is hoping to seal a move to Valley Parade and will be looking to make an impression in his first trial game for the club.

Wilson has been playing in America for FC Dallas since his release from The Riverside in 2005.
