Shrewsbury Town have snapped up striker Michael Symes on loan from Bradford.
Shrews boss Gary Peters moved for the former Everton trainee after new signing Andy Cooke broke a toe in training, ruling him out for up to four weeks.
"It's tragic as Cookey has been on fire and has been so up for it and looking forward to playing. The joy he's had at coming back to Shrewsbury is driving him on and Andy would have been starting on Saturday," said Peters.
"I've brought in Symes who is a very talented lad and a decent striker who could do well in our division."
