Cheltenham have completed the signing of Italian winger Raffaele De Vita on a three-month contract.

The 27-year-old, who helped Swindon win the League Two title, cut short birthday celebrations in Rome to sign his deal with the Robins having been a free agent since leaving Bradford earlier this summer. "Raffa will offer us something different," boss Mark Yates told the club's official website. "He will add versatility because he can play in a few positions, works hard and can nick a goal. He's a very decent player who I've liked for some time. "A few clubs were interested in him in the summer but nothing happened and now he wants a chance to put himself out there so we'll see what happens over the next three months. I'm delighted to have him in the squad." Due to his lack of match fitness De Vita is not in contention for this weekend's clash with Cheltenham but he joined his new team-mates for training on Thursday.
