Harrison happy at Kingsmeadow

AFC Wimbledon striker Byron Harrison insists his tough start to life at the League Two club is now a distant memory.

The 25-year-old moved to Kingsmeadow from Stevenage in January, but did not find the net until late March and scored just once more over the rest of the season. But Harrison has hit the ground running this term with five goals, including three in his last three appearances for the Dons. "I'm just not the type of player who goes 13 games without scoring, that was very hard to take," he said. "I know I've not played at a fantastic level during my career so far, but I pride myself on scoring goals so it was tough for me. "I've learned from it all, though, and I can say that I've put it behind me."
