Brown rues missed chances

Manager Terry Brown was left reflecting on what might have been after seeing his AFC Wimbledon side lose 1-0 at Northampton.

Byron Harrison and the experienced Jason Euell missed good chances in each half before Luke Guttridge grabbed the only goal of the game in the 80th minute. Dons skipper Jamie Stuart almost earned the visitors a point five minutes from time when his glancing header scraped the post. "It was disappointing to lose it late on. It was a scrappy game and we never got going in the first half," said Brown. "We were much better in the second half and we had two good chances to have won the game. "If either one had gone in I'm sure we'd have won because I could only see them scoring from a set-piece. But our decision making in the final third wasn't good enough."
