Pell: Will be assessed before clash

Sky Bet

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Hereford and Cheltenham at Edgar Street.

Hereford will assess a number of players ahead of the home clash.

Midfielder Harry Pell (knee) and striker Richard Peniket (ankle) were both set to miss last weekend's postponed trip to Gillingham and will be monitored ahead of the visit of a Robins side who occupy one of the automatic promotion places in League Two.

Simon Clist has been missing of late with a groin problem and will also be checked over ahead of the encounter.

However, Stefan Stam (knee) and Joe Heath (groin) are both likely to remain on the sidelines.

Fellow defender Benoit Dalibard definitely returns to the fold having completed his three-match ban with the passing of the club's 2-0 defeat to Shrewsbury last time out.

Striker Lyle Taylor, 21, is also in contention to make his Bulls debut having arrived on a one-month loan deal from Bournemouth on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Cheltenham will continue to be without centre-back Steve Elliott.

Elliott has missed the Robins' last three league matches with a calf strain and the veteran defender will not recover in time to face the Bulls, with Keith Lowe set to deputise once more.

Otherwise, manager Mark Yates has a fully-fit and injury-free squad at his disposal.

Jeff Goulding has returned to the starting line-up in recent weeks and the striker will be hoping to keep hold of his place in the face of pressure from Jimmy Spencer and Daryl Duffy.

Midfielder Josh Low will be hoping for a recall, as Cheltenham look to make instant amends for their 4-2 defeat to fellow promotion-chasers Crawley in midweek.
