Darryl Duffy has revealed the competition up front at Cheltenham is keeping all the strikers at the club on their toes.
Duffy has become a regular feature of a Robins side which has defied expectations to sit third in League Two as the season approaches its halfway stage.
Manager Mark Yates has preferred to deploy one central forward in his attacking 4-3-3 formation, and that has left Duffy, Jeff Goulding, James Spencer and Marlon Jackson all vying for a single place up top.
Duffy told Press Association Sport: "We've got four strikers who can all play in the central role and there's only one position up for grabs.
"Competition is high in the striking department, probably more so that in any other position at the club at the moment.
"I'm in there at the moment and it's up to me to keep working hard and keep showing the right attitude to stay there for as long as possible."
