Midfielder Russ Penn has said he is enjoying some of the best form of his career with Cheltenham.
The playmaker has been a mainstay in the middle of the park for the Robins, as the Whaddon Road outfit have rubbished pre-season predictions of a relegation struggle to lie third in League Two after 19 matches.
Penn, who has formed an important partnership with Marlon Pack in midfield, admitted not having found the net so far this term was frustrating. But otherwise he is more than happy with the way the season has panned out, both for him and his team.
"Personally it has been one of the best seasons for me," he told Press Association Sport.
"I've not scored a goal but I've been playing regularly and enjoying my football.
"I don't think I've ever been as high as this in my career so that's a big thing but we've got to keep working hard to stay where we are."
