Midfielder Russ Penn believes Cheltenham have proved they can match the very best footballing sides in League Two.
The Robins currently lie third after a sensational start to the new season - their best ever in the Football League.
Penn, who has become a mainstay in midfield for the Whaddon Road outfit, claims Cheltenham have already outshone most of the big budgets and historically strong sides in the division - and they don't plan on letting up any time soon.
"There are some big clubs in this league who were favourites to go up who have been struggling," he said.
"We've shown that we can more than compete with them. We're 18 games in the league and we're third, and I don't think I've been this high in my career. We have to keep going.
"You don't play football to be at the bottom of the table."
