Cheltenham boss Mark Yates feels Jack Butland's call-up to the England Under-21 squad is no surprise after his impressive form.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper, on loan at the Abbey Business Stadium from Birmingham, made his debut for the Under-21s earlier this month.
And his international involvement in the games against Iceland and Norway will see him miss the Robins' games against Wycombe and Dagenham.
But Yates told the club's official website: "We knew Jack would be missing for those games but that isn't a problem because Scotty [Brown] will come straight back in.
"I knew Jack was going to be in the squad and I'm delighted for him because he deserves it based on his last England performance.
"He has done well for us but not it gives Scotty a chance to come in and play well."
