Yates closes in on striker deal
Skysports.com understands Cheltenham Town are poised to sign AFC Wimbledon striker Kaid Mohamed.
Mohamed helped AFC Wimbledon win promotion to the Football League last season, but he is now set to join their League Two rivals Cheltenham.
Cheltenham have agreed a fee with AFC Wimbledon for the 26-year-old and he is now having talks with the Robins.
Cheltenham manager Mark Yates revealed he was hoping to bring in a new striker last week and it appears Mohamed is the mystery target.
Mohamed's arrival will help fill the void left by Wes Thomas' departure to Crawley.
