Cheltenham have been slammed by non-league Newport for their attempts to land captain Gary Warren for just £10,000.
County manager Anthony Hudson has criticised the Robins for what he feels is a measly offer for the defender, labelling it "an insult" to both the player and the Blue Square Bet Premier club.
Hudson told the South Wales Echo: "Gary is a massive part of the club and what we will do next season. We have no intention of selling him.
"In my view Gary can play in the Football League and to offer a fee like that for such a quality player is an insult to be honest."
