Low backs Robins to come good

Josh Low believes Cheltenham will soon put an end to their poor run of form if everyone at the club sticks together.

Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Aldershot made it just one win in 11 games for the Robins who have slipped to 16th in League Two. Winger Low admitted the management and players at Whaddon Road are at a loss to explain the disappointing recent run of results, but he is sure the current crop of players at the club will soon turn things around. He told the Gloucestershire Echo: "I completely understand the fans' frustrations and I wish we could tell them exactly what's causing the problem, but we are trying our best. "I have been in squads when players haven't been trying as hard as they should be, but that's not the case here, definitely not. We are a good set of players, we've played well this season, we don't become bad players overnight - we'll get back on a good run and this is a time we all need to stick together." On Town's home form, which has seen them record just six victories from 19 matches this season, he added: "I am surprised at the statistics and I am not sure what it is, but the players are not scared of playing at home. We don't talk about there being a problem at home because we are on a bad run, regardless of whether it's home or away."
