Cheltenham Town's out-of-favour midfielder Josh Emery has left the club by mutual consent.
The 20-year-old has failed to break into the first team at the Abbey Stadium and an agreement for his contract to be cancelled has been reached. Manager Mark Yates told the club's official website: "I would like to wish Josh all the best for the future. Things have not gone to plan for him this year and we gave him the option of cancelling his contract, which he has done."
