Matt Sparrow is close to a return to Brighton's first team after a spell on the sidelines with a groin problem.
The midfielder is having a final scan on his groin which will hopefully give him the all clear to return to training with the rest of the Seagulls squad on Thursday in preparation for the trip to fellow League One high-flyers Peterborough. The former Scunthorpe player has been feeling the injury since last month's victory against Plymouth and was ruled out of last Saturday's 2-0 win over Yeovil as a result. If Sparrow does get the go ahead to make his comeback, he could return to Gus Poyet's starting line-up for the crucial game at London Road at the weekend.
