Cheltenham's Jeff Goulding has revealed he has a top-scorer rivalry with fellow striker Wesley Thomas.
Following his summer move from Bournemouth, Goulding opened his account for the Robins with the winner in their 3-2 win over Crewe - a match in which Thomas scored a brace.
Goulding is more than happy to provide the assists for goal-poacher Thomas, but the 26-year-old wants to contribute with goals too.
"Wes and I always have a little joke that I am the feeder and he is the scorer," Goulding told the Gloucester Citizen.
"I was itching to score on Saturday and I was ecstatic to get off the mark. Hopefully we can get a few between us and I am going to be chasing him.
"I am not going to say he is going to get 20 and I am going to get 10 because I'd love to beat him for the golden boot here this season and it's working well for us both so far."
